Now in its own manufacturing facility in Odessa, Florida. Sylvan & Sons has established a strong track record of excellence in  product quality and outstanding service to retailers and consumers alike.

Even though corporate customers have included most of the big names in pet retailing; New England Serum, PetsMart, Petco, and Pets.com, Sylvan & Sons original and primary customers are independent chains and smaller retail businesses. Our designer collars, leashes, bows, and harnesses can be found at many grooming shops, pet specialty retailers, boutiques, pet stores, and web sites nation wide and in Canada, Great Britain, and Japan. 

 Sylvan & Sons products first became available online in 1999. Our first web site Sylvans.net was created to satisfy requests from people who were not able to find our products in stores near them. When we introduced our Genuine Dog Gear product line which includes; toys, training aids, leashes etc. geared towards training and competition in agility, flyball and obedience, we created another web site for those products Genuinedoggear.com. Now our third website Christmascollars.com has joined the family.

On line ordering and payment info

Secure servers We use secure servers so your credit card information is safe. 

If you're uncomfortable using your credit card online, we'll be happy to take your order over the phone. Please contact us by phone.

Order notification After you place your online order you will receive an automatic reply from the web site that includes your order information. If you do not receive an automatic notice, either your email address was entered incorrectly, or your order was not placed. Please contact us by phone or Email if you do not get an automatic notice.

Shipping notification We send a shipping notification on the day we ship your order, if you don't receive this notification within a day or two after you placed your order please contact us by phone or Email. Perhaps your email address was entered incorrectly or the order was not completed.

Shipping info

Delivery Times. We ship each weekday, and most orders go out within 24 hours or less from the time they are placed. We do not ship on Saturday or Sunday, orders that are placed on the weekend ship on Monday. Orders placed after 2pm eastern time usually ship the next day, if the order is placed before 2pm it may go out the same day it was placed.

Gift Shipping. We can ship your order to directly to someone other than the person who placed the order. If you would like to have a gift sent directly to your friends or family, just fill in their address under "shipping address" during checkout, and fill in your address under billing address. 

Tracking. Only UPS shipments can be tracked, if you shipment hasn't arrived within an appropriate time period, please contact us. Shipments aren't lost very often, but it can happen.

UPS No PO Boxes! UPS does not deliver to post office boxes, we must have a street address for UPS delivery.

Delivery time

How many days?  If you live in Florida or southern Georgia you may get your package the day after you place your order! Wow! UPS Packages will take 2 - 3 days to be delivered in the broader southeastern states, and Postal Priority packages are usually delivered in 2-3 Days for most of the rest of the nation. UPS packages to the west coast usually take 5-6 business days, depending on location. We do ship to Canada, Europe and Asia, there are additional charges for international shipping.

Faster Service. Shipping can be upgraded. The additional cost for upgraded service is calculated during checkout when you select the upgrade. Note: UPS doesn't count the pickup day in delivery times. Next day air packages are delivered the day after they are picked up, and 2nd day air packages are delivered 2 days after the day they are picked up.

Christmas Rush! We will be shipping Next Day Air packages on December 21st for delivery on December 24th! Regular ground packages must arrive at their destination by Friday December 21st. Please plan your shipping times appropriately if a package must arrive before Christmas. If you're not sure, contact us by phone or Email and we'll help you figure it out.

Returns

To return an item. Should it be necessary to return an item, simply send the item to: Sylvan & Sons 17708 Simms Rd Odessa, FL 33556. Please include your name, or the name of the person who placed the order, a return address and a phone number, or a copy of your invoice. If you have a questions before returning an item, please contact us by phone, or by Email.
